Framing Your World By Your Word
Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you on what I title, “Framing Your World By Your Word”. Let me begin by saying that all that you see that exist today is a by-product of spoken words. Hebrews 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” This is true going by the event of creation from the book of Genesis. “And God said, let there be light, and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). If you noticed, all through the act of creation, God spoke everything into existence. What does that tell you? There is power in your words. Listen, “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth” (Genesis 1:26). From the above scripture, we can see that God placed man in His class to operate just like Him. Meaning, if God spoke things into existence, man can do likewise. The bible declares in Job 22:28, “For you will declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.” No wonder Jesus said, “He that believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12). What was Jesus trying to pass across from the above scripture? “As he is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). As believers in Christ Jesus, we are not different from who Jesus is, or limited in capacity to operate in His dimensions here on earth. Hallelujah! You are powerful! “For greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Therefore, you MUST know who you are, believe it by Faith, and confess it accordingly. The Psalmist echoes, “What is man that you are mindful of him; and the son of man that you visit him…for you made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; and has put all things under his feet” (Psalm 8:4;6). Hear me clearly, whatever you say you have. Many people have been tied down to a spot due to the wrong confessions of their mouth. Upon hearing the awful conversations going on amongst the children of Israel, the Lord said to Moses, “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you” (Numbers 14:28). Listen, “By your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned” (Matthew 12:37). It’s a choice. “Life and death is in the power of your tongue” (Proverbs 18:31). If God framed the world by His word, then you and I can frame our world by the words of our mouth. A few years ago, I was at the Calgary International Airport in Canada, waiting for my connecting flight to Edmonton. All of a sudden, it started raining heavily with thunderstorms. It appeared like a joke. Then an elderly white woman walked up to me shivering. She said to me: “I am scared…I just flew in from California, and I have just been told that there is thunderstorm in Edmonton due to this heavy downpour.” I just laughed! I asked her: Do you believe in God? She looked at me and smiled. At this time, it was still raining heavily. Then I told her, don’t worry…we will arrive safely. Immediately, I opened my mouth and said: “Lord, Elijah the Tishbite said to King Ahab, as the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word” (1 Kings 17:1). Therefore, I command this rain to stop right now according to my word in Jesus Name.” I sat down, opened my tab and started reading my bible. In less than 5 minutes later, the rain stopped with an unusual bright sun shining everywhere. Then the announcement came we should board. You know what? We took off and landed safely in Edmonton without stress. Listen, I don’t know what you are going through presently that’s making you to shiver like the old woman I met. I do know one thing. And Jesus said, “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed…he shall have whatsoever he says” (Mark 11:23). Remember, have faith in God. Speak Right! Have a Fantastic Week. With love, Elvis!
