He Went About

Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you on what I title, “He Went About”. Ladies and gentlemen, may I humbly begin by announcing to you that one of the speedy strategy you can adopt for the achievement of success this year is to “Go about in God’s Business” (Luke 2:41-52). You see, Christianity is not “a sit down” business. It is not stationary as some think. That is to say, now that I am born again let me relax on the departure lounge, and wait for my flight to heaven. No! It is a “go about” way of life. Yes, a real serious business before our departure on this side of eternity. You and I did not receive Jesus for ourselves only. If Jesus tarries, it is our duty and assignment to go about spreading His good news to others. The bible declares in Matthew 4:23-25, “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. Great multitudes followed Him – from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.” Really, a lot of believers in Christ want to see signs and wonders following them. It’s a good desire. But listen, it cannot happen while you are in a stationary mode. You have to change your gear from “parking mode” to “drive mode”. Jesus is our role model and perfect example of how the kingdom and the power of God operates here on earth. Acts 10:38 declares, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” The above scripture said Jesus “went about” doing good, and because he did, signs and wonders followed him everywhere He went. Hallelujah! As a believer, you can’t be a carrier of signs and wonders when you are laidback, complacent, and doing nothing with the Jesus you carry on the inside. It is a waste of God’s resources if Jesus in you is docile and not active. Many of us have lofty dreams and plans for the year 2021, but if “God’s Kingdom Agenda” is not at the centre of your lofty dreams and desire for the year, then you will exert so much strength with little or nothing to show for it. Remember, “For by strength shall no man prevail” (1 Samuel 2:9). Jesus declares in Matthew 6:33 saying, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” What are these things that will be added to you? The good things of life that you desire, and also the good things you never asked for, will naturally be given to you by God because you do the things that are pleasing in His sight.Beloved, do you want fruitfulness, addition and multiplication in your life this year without subtraction, then put everything aside, and put God first. In making God your topmost priority, you will be honoured (2 Chronicles 16:9; 1 Samuel 2:30). Now, as you embark on this New Year, make it a top priority to “Go About in 2021 for Jesus”. And Jesus charged His disciples saying, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Mark 16:15-18). Are you a true disciple of Jesus? If so, the onus is on you to “Go ye”. There is no other way to enter into His fullness other than to “Go About” doing His business as a Soul Winner. “For he who wins souls is wise” (Proverbs 11:30). In other words, he that does not advance God’s kingdom by wining souls is foolish. I know you are wise and won’t act foolishly this year by not keying into kingdom business. Now, let the “passion for the lost” be your Topmost Priority. I see you doing Exploits in 2021 (Daniel 11:32). Therefore, Go and Advance His Kingdom; Go and Conquer Territories. As you Obey, Signs, Miracles & Wonders will follow You in Jesus Mighty Name (Mark 16:20; Acts 14:3; Hebrew 2:4; Acts 2:43). Hallelujah! Have a Fantastic Week. With love, Elvis!
