Take the Limits Off your Mind

Friends, greetings in Jesus Name! Today I will be sharing with you on what I title, “Take the Limits Off your Mind”. Our God is not complicated. He longs to answer our prayers and meet our everyday needs. It is of His good pleasure to see us live an abundant life. Like He rightly noted, “Beloved I wish above all things that you prosper (not suffer), and be in good health, even as your soul prospers” (3 John 2). If you observe from the above scriptural verse, the level of your physical prosperity is tied to the prosperity of your soul. Many of our prayers are being hindered by the limit we set in our minds. A lot of times we confess positively, but unfortunately we aren’t sure whether what we are saying will come to pass. You must understand the fact that the moment doubt sets in, just forget what you are asking for or believing God in prayer. Why? The limit has been set. Once that is done, your prayer will be hindered.

Many people are being defeated even before the battle begins. It's because victory in any given battle begins in the mind. In the face of an impending battle, when you start asking yourself questions like: Will I make it; Is God really with me; I feel alone; let me give a try, and so on. Listen, with such thoughts, the battle is lost already without remedy. Just like the ten spies who were sent by Moses to spy out the promise land, but had a negative mindset, and were defeated even before the battle began, so also will anybody with such a corrupt mindset be defeated. Really, your spiritual state dictates your physical well-being. Therefore, the physical manifestation of any victory achieved, is as a result of the mental state. That's why the bible says, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5); “For we have the mind of Christ” (1 Cor. 2:16). Meaning, as a child of God there is a recommended mindset you must possess if you're to succeed and enjoy a victorious life here on earth.

Remember, all that Jesus achieved while on earth, only came into full manifestation because He was in total agreement with His Father. He said, “The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing” (John 5:19). In Genesis 1, “God said, let there be light; and there was light; He said, let there be firmament, and there was firmament; He said, let the earth bring forth grass, and it was so, and so on. Then He gave a charge, and said; Let us make man in our own image and after our likeness; and let there have dominion over all the creation. Do you think God was joking when He made those pronouncements and bestowed upon man such an enormous authority? He expects you to exercise the authority which He has given to you. But that can only happen when you are in total alignment with God by possessing a renewed mindset in Christ Jesus (Romans 12:1-2). Have a Blessed Week. With love, Elvis!
